Percheron Draft Horse by MrEd301 Percheron Draft Horse by MrEd301
Fountain Inn, SC had carriage rides around town during their Christmas festival. The carriages were on loan from Charleston, SC.
The horse is a Percheron draft horse, a breed developed in northern France. They are slightly larger than a Clydesdale standing at 19 hands. They were a popular work horse in the US back in the day of horse power.
Clydesdales were developed in Scotland, and stand 18 hands tall and are known for their white fringed fetlocks..

Character Eddie Bear created, owned and copywritten by me.

It's actually a Percheron Draft horse, slightly larger than the Clydesdales. I'm actually holding the horses bridle, as he kept looking at me as if to say, "what the heck are you?"
